I was very badly treated, working until midnight, not clothed or fed properly. I was patient but things got worse until the point where my employer raised his hand to me, and I said enough. We speak about the appalling abuse and violence that our clients experience to help people understand why they need our support. What often gets lost is the courage, resilience and tenacity that survivors demonstrate during their brutally long and bureaucratic journey towards justice and safety.

Our report shows how we are using the law to hold the government to account to make sure that all survivors in the UK receive the safety and justice they deserve.
